Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach, Chittagong



Cox’s Bazar sea beach, the world’s longest natural sandy sea beach with its incredible 120 km length. It is the most visited tourist destination in Bangladesh. Every year millions of foreigner and local people come here to enjoy their holidays. You will enjoy sunrise and sunset view very much in this beach because the sea changes color in those time. Warm shark free water is best for swimming and sunbathing. You will enjoy surfing, jogging, cycling in this beach too. It is always crowded by tourists. Near the beach you will find there are hundreds of shops selling souvenirs and beach accessories to the tourists.
Here you will find many Buddhist Temples and tribes, colorful Pagodas and delightful sea-food which make Cox’s bazar so special.

How to get there
You can come to Cox’s Bazar by bus or air. There are several bus service depart from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, bus fare is around BDT 650-900 non-A/C and BDT 1200-1600 A/C . The journey is near about 8-10 hours. As well as Bangladesh Biman , United Air , Regent Air,Novo Aair,Us Bangla has domestic flights for Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar.
Saint Martin is a small but very beautiful coral Island of Bangladesh. The Island is a very quiet, neat and clean place. Every corners of this Island has different look and are very attractive. Here you will find live and dead coral, lots of coconut trees that’s why its local name is Narikel Jinjira. Overnight staying in St. Martins Island is really an exotic feeling where you will feel and listen the sound of Sea.If you are lucky then you can spend the exotic moonlit night at St. Martins Island. The beauty of Full moon in St. Martins Island cannot be expressed, if you are not there at that time. Chera-dwip is a beautiful part of this Island, you can go there by boat. You can walk around the Island in a day. You can enjoy BBQ dinner with fresh marine fish or lobsters here.

How to get there
Direct bus service is available between Dhaka and Khulna. It may takes 7-8 hours to reach Khulna. After get reach at Khulna you have to go Mongla, You can get to Mongla by bus within 3 hours. From Mongla you have to hire a small engine boat or launches to get Sundarbans. It take 2-3 hours to get “Harbaria Ecotourism Center”. Usually it takes 6 to 10 hours journey by launch from Mongla to Hiron Point or Katka.
Kuakata (Sagar Kannya / Daughter of the Sea) sea beach is a white sandy beach. It is about 18 km long and 3.5km wide. It is one of the rarest places to see the full view of both sunrise and sunset from the same place or same position. This beach is surrounded by green trees and beside the beach there are many garden forest, like The Foyej Miyar Coconut Garden, Lembur Chor, Jhau bon, Gangamotir Chor etc. These gardens and forests are the most attracting part for the tourist. There are no quick sands in the beach. So you can frequently run, take bath, swim, and pick up cockle from the beach. There are two rivers, named Payra and Bishkhali are West of the beach and river named Agunmukha is East of the beach. It has also some wanderings sites like the Rakhain Polly, Shima Buddhu Bihar, Fatrar Chor,Rash Mela, Shutki Polli that are enjoyable for the tourist.

How to get there

Direct bus service from Dhaka to Kuakata is available that leaves from Sayedabad bus station at night.
If you want to travel by launch you can find direct launch from Dhaka Sadarghat to Patuakhali.
From Patuakhali you can reach Kuakata by bus or you can hire a motor cycle.
You have to cross three ferry to reach the spot. Then you can hire a boat costing BDT 1000 to 1200 to visit all the sites of Kuakata.
Do anyone walk over the cloud? then must go to Nilgiri. One of the highest peaks in Bangladesh.A spectacular heavenly place in Bandarban, managed by Army. Here tourist can get varieties of seasonal beauty. Can get cloudy experiances, campfire activities and see foggy gesture of nature. From here, nice and clear view over the tortuous Sangu River as far as visitors sight go.

How to get there
It is about 65 km from Bandarban town and need to get the Thanchi bound busses or private vehicles like “Chander gari”. Chander Gari : range : 800-2000 BDT (for 10-14 visitors
